DAY 18 — ASKHAT

ASKHAT. At Love Burn, a real yurt arrived from Almaty, Kazakhstan. When you stepped inside, something shifted. The air changed. The sound softened. It felt like a portal to another time — to nomadic wisdom, to ancestral memory, to the sky and the steppe. I didn’t plan to paint him. But while Askhat was sitting, the overwhelming feeling of wanting to capture this moment overcame me, so I sat down and created this piece to share the magical presence I encountered with others.
